Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat

It's a fairly simple product. You apply it to freshly painted nails, and it speeds up the drying process. Whilst providing a protect shield against chipping it also adds an extra layer of gloss.

When I am wearing this, I really have noticed a difference. My nail polish stays put a lot longer (2-3 days) and my manicures do look a lot more shiny, which I love. Although I can't say my nail polish dries a great deal quicker.

For £5.99 this little dude won't break the bank and if you were looking for a new top coat or a product to make you nails look that little bit better, I would happily recommend it.

Not a very in depth review I know, bit let's face it, if you aren't wearing a topcoat and get frustrated when your nail polish chips on the day you've painted your nails, I would definitely invest in this.

Maybelline Dream Touch Cream Blush

This is a cream whipped blush that is designed to leave your skin with a soft, natural colour. Its great for giving a soft, natural flush of colour, it also contains a slight shimmer that gives cheeks a lovely sheen and a beautiful dewy finish.
The packaging is very nice and doesn’t look cheap. The lid is the same colour as the blush which makes it easier to find the colour you desire when you have more than one of these blushes. The glass container in which the product is in is quite deep so and it is also fragrance free.

The consistency is very soft. I applied it with my fingers and you can blend it very well. It kind of feels a bit powdery and not creamy in the sense that it looks greasy or so. When you have applied it, it does’t shine or anything it stays matte. You have to use more coats to get a nice finish as it sets itself into the skin.

I can definitely recommend you the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush! It has a good pigmentation, it’s easy to apply and has a great consistency. It lasts a long time therefore is great value for money.

ELF Golden Bronzer/Highlighter (Dior Amber Diamond dupe!)

I've had this ELF in my collection for a while now. Personally, I wouldn’t use this as a bronzer but as a highlighter instead because the colours are so bright.

The compact is huge and looks like a Nars product. It contains 12.3 grams of four different shimmer shades, which provide a healthy glow, perfect for summer. The compact comes with a big mirror that's very useful, especially for travel.

All four colours are really pretty! They make a very nice highlight that's not over powering, instead gives a natural glow. It's not too pigmented so you can blend the colours well together. You could also use this as eyeshadows.
The first swatch above is how the four colours look like when blended together. The second one is the shade on the top left which is a golden toned bronzer/highlighter; next to it is the colour on the upper right, which is a peachy shimmer colour with gold undertones; followed by the pearl shade with silver sparkles; and lastly, a golden pinky colour with gold shimmers.

This product is really similar to Dior Amber Diamond. I can't confirm it though because I don't own any Dior product, but from the swatches and images online, they really are. (As you can see below)

You can purchase the ELF bronzer here in the colour Golden for £3.75.

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer

This Lightweight primer smoothes skin while evening out skin tone with colour correcting pigments that neutralise redness and uneven colour. The mild formula is able to neutralise the redness on the skin and brightens out dull skin, it can also fix uneven skin tone.
So far, I love using this before my makeup. On a daily basis, I would usually only use a moisturiser, followed by this primer, my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and then followed by face powder. And that's it!

It is a slightly pink-toned brightening primer leaves your skin looking and feeling beautiful. It’s got a hint of that silicone-y slipperyness, but this disappears in a few seconds to leave your skin looking plumped and mattified.
The texture is light and not sticky at all. It absorbed rather quickly by the skin and you can wear this alone or under foundation.

Benefit Dandelion Brightening Face Powder

I have been loving this recently!

I would describe it as a sheer ballerina pink finishing powder with a subtle shimmer, and it takes your complexion from dull to radiant in an instant! Perfect for a little perk throughout the day or to brighten if your have dull skin. There is also a little included which I prefer not to use.

Benefit says: Dust on our soft, pink, perk-me-up powder for instant radiance and a youthful appearance. Its the perfect shade of pink that brightens everyone's complexion.

I completely agree!

Dandelion simply gives me a "wake up face" in the morning, which will be turn a little bit oily in 2-3 hours. Since I have extremely oily skin.

I never put too much attention to Dandelion's scent, it's very soft like baby powder, but not disturbing. You can't smell it once it applied on your face.

I recommend this to everyone as it can work well on everyones skin tone/type.
You can use it in many ways. You can stroke it across your face as a finishing powder, you can use it for touch ups, you can use it alone for a pretty flushed look, and you can use it over your blush to tone it down.

Have you tried this?

L'Oreal GlamShine Stain Splash (YSL Glossy Stain Dupes!)

After trying a few lip stains, I decided I wanted one a little less drying. So after hearing these babies have been hailed as dupes for YSL Glossy Stains, I've been keeping a beady eye out for their arrival in the UK. Eventually, I purchased this little lip product in shade 102 Romy.

It is described as a pretty pink tone with some coral hues and subtle shimmer. I would define Romy as a wearable shade during the day. However, if it’s not your ideal pop of colour then there are six other shades to choose from.

Glam Shine Stain Splash is housed in a unusual oblong shell and has an artificial strawberry scent which I quite like. The applicator is a unique and soft wand which easily bends and moves with the contour of your lips so you can apply precisely.

On application, my lips felt cooled and coated with what felt like a gloss however, its quick-drying properties means that within seconds the wet feeling transformed into a matte feeling whilst maintaining its intense colour AND long-lasting shine.
L’OrĂ©al have certainly delivered the goods and provided us with an excellent lip product which delivers on its promise.

Available from Boots and Superdrug from £7.99

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I thought it was about time I post a review on this, since I use this everyday and it's a really good budget buy from Rimmel.
The powder is packaged in a flat pot with a clear lid. It is fairly travel friendly however sometimes the lid can come off unexpectedly but this is mainly on my dressing table anyway, so it's not a problem for me!

I usually apply this with my MAC 150, because I find it works really well just lightly dusted all over my face I don't want shine because I'm not a fan of the dewy look on me. I have the shade Sandstorm.

It blends out really well over my foundation/BB cream, and I use it more liberally on my nose, chin and forehead. I then blend it out to seal in my base make up. It claims to minimise pores, which I actually think it does. My skin definitely looks a little more airbrushed after I've used it.

It does a great job of covering up shine and keeping my make up in place all day. In terms of lasting power, it does last for 5 hours, and then the shine slowly starts to come back.

I would really recommend this powder if you have oily skin or just want to tone down the shine of your foundation.
